Just a little something I wanted to quickly post: my design for my sister-in-law’s {Cassie’s} baby shower. I stumbled upon it yesterday and realized I should share it! Flash forward a couple months and I’m the godmother of the bundle of joy {Lydia Maureen} … and loving every minute of her warm presence. I also wanted to share a few photos from our newborn photo-shoot together, one of which includes the paintings I had created as my shower gift to Cassie — all in “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” style.

My brother and his beautiful-in-every-way fiance are expecting a little girl in December and I am BEYOND excited for them. I have a feeling that I’m really going to love being an aunt, and I know this special little girl is going to have a huge part of my heart. I have the pleasure of hosting her baby shower soon, and wanted to post a quick look at the invitations. Maternity photography coming in another month!

Below is a campaign that I designed and shot for CUBIC over the weekend.
I actually shot these on a white table in my room; my mom was a little confused as to why I was bringing a cracked egg and toilet paper into my room…so here ya go, Ma!

The concept is to create curiosity over our chiclets, persuading viewers to come to our booth to figure out what exactly a chiclet is. The campaign will be sent out through email and also used as a banner on various websites.  It’s pretty abstract for CUBIC, but we’re all about trying new things in this phase of our marketing.

I’m exploring Northern Minnesota with Taylor J. And I’m going to unplug. Starting now.
