I couldn’t help posting a million photos of Kelsey! This girl cannot take a bad picture. It is always a pleasure to photograph someone with such natural beauty.

Kelsey’s photo-shoot was split into two parts: urban and rural. Part one was shot in New Prague & Montgomery, and thanks to Palmer Welcome (www.welcomeauto.com) we were able to stylize part of the shoot to fit a 50s feel, which ROCKED.

Part two was shot in St. Paul, and for this portion Kelsey gave me the freedom to shoot untraditional senior pictures. I love the opportunity to experiment with a little darker look. Take a peek:

I SCREAMED when Annie called me to say Nate had proposed. My heart raced and restraining myself from running laps around the house was a challenge (but I managed to hold back, because I realize that’s probably not normal). I felt so happy for my best friend, and that happiness has resonated everyday since.

I could sit down and try real hard to explain what Ann and I have been through in the last twelve years, but that does not belong in a blog post of reasonable length.
Sooooo… I will say that from mirror games to music videos, high school rebelliousness to our first year of college, Annie and I have always shared a sisterly connection. We talk, we laugh, we laugh some more, we borrow clothes, we tell each other when that outfit looks AWFUL, we have ups, we have downs; we’re real. I am me and she is she. That’s how it goes. That’s how we roll.

I’ve known Nate since the high school days and could also write about that, but that ALSO does not belong in a blog post. What I will say is this: he’s grown into a guy that shares a rare connection with my best friend and will make her happy for the rest of her life. That’s pretty damn cool.

So, enough about the happy couple, here are some pictures!

OH, and I’m MAID OF HONOR!!!

Photographs taken in Henderson, MN. A lot of laughs while shooting these two—I expected nothing less.

And we’ll leave off with some candids:
